How to Play
Tripped is a thrilling sprint across North America that keeps every player on the edge of their seat right to the FINISH. Watch how easy it is to play!
North America: It’s bigger than it looks
The game gets competitive immediately as each player takes off to a different city in each of the 6 longitudes, racing to get back home first. This could take you to places you already know (NEW YORK, TORONTO, MEXICO CITY), to places you’d like to go (BERMUDA, ANCHORAGE, SANTO DOMINGO), to places you can’t pronounce (QAQORTOQ, INUKJUAK, UTQIAGVIK).
The Best Laid Plans Of Mice And Men
A turn consists of 1. Taking Trips, 2. Playing Tripped cards, and 3. Drawing more cards. Each turn, take four trips towards your 6 destination cities. Travel by ROAD for free or collect tickets to go faster by TRAIN, SHIP or PLANE. You will have to plan the best route but remember the name of the game is Tripped. Watch your step and have a plan B.
Longitude and Latitude…
With Attitude
The Tripped Cards add a unique twist to the game. They can either put “wind in your sails” or place a “bump in the road”. ORANGE CARDS make travel more expensive. GREEN CARDS help you get to your destinations quicker. RED CARDS let you trip the players ahead of you and BLUE CARDS give you Diplomatic Immunity from some of the madness.
Tripped Cards & Winning
The players in the lead are always going to be Tripped by the players behind them and that keeps the race tight. As you get close to the finish, the player in last place could just as easily win as the player in the lead.
